We are seeking a Systems Engineer/Technical Advisor to provide systems engineering support to the Mission Integration Directorate (MID) at the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). The candidate will collaborate with senior management, technical project directors, systems engineers, customer stakeholders, mission partners, and contractors to ensure effective deployment and sustainment of systems throughout the mission lifecycle. The Intelligence Group provides high-end systems engineering, software development, and data analytics support to national security and military intelligence clients, delivering trusted expertise and innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting intelligence missions, be familiar with NRO decision-making processes, and understand key mission systems and capabilities. They should be adept at building collaborative teams and establishing trusted stakeholder relationships. Required Qualifications

Masters with 4 years, or HS/GED with 10 years, or Associate with 8 years, or Bachelor’s with 6 years, or Doctorate with 3 years of relevant technical experience. Ability to analyze MID projects to ensure alignment with strategic goals and technology roadmaps. Experience advising leadership on technical risks and assessing emerging technologies for mission applications. Support outreach with NRO offices, government agencies, industry, and academia. Provide technical assessments on IC initiatives involving advanced research and technology. Lead and support systems engineering activities aligned with mission goals. Develop and maintain procedures for technical development and architecture planning. Assist in enterprise assessments and identifying opportunities for new capabilities. Review and prepare technical documentation including system architectures and proposals. Strong understanding of NRO capabilities across GEOINT, SIGINT, MASINT, and HUMINT domains. Knowledge of ground and space-based architectures for mission integration. Current TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph required. Desired Qualifications

Masters in Science or Engineering. Strong presentation skills for senior government audiences. Innovative, proactive, and collaborative mindset across disciplines. PMP Certification. Deliverables include reports, briefings, spreadsheets, and other documents, often under tight deadlines, maintaining high quality standards. Additional Information
