Fluids Engineer

with expertise in

hydraulic and pneumatic system design . This role supports the development of custom automation equipment used for product testing, assembly, and validation across a variety of industries. You’ll join a multidisciplinary engineering team that designs and builds complete automation systems in-house — combining mechanical, electrical, controls, and software expertise. This position offers the opportunity to see your designs go from concept to fully functioning equipment on a modern, clean shop floor. Responsibilities

Design hydraulic and pneumatic circuits for tooling, fixturing, and test systems. Calculate flow, temperature, and pressure requirements for hydraulic/pneumatic applications. Create detailed design drawings in AutoCAD. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers to ensure safe and reliable system performance. Generate Bills of Material and work with purchasing to source components and equipment. Support assembly and startup of machines during build and debug phases. Assist with troubleshooting and field service activities as needed. Communicate effectively with project managers and other stakeholders. Qualifications

Proficiency in AutoCAD and general PC/Microsoft Office software. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. 5–15 years of experience designing hydraulic/pneumatic systems. Familiarity with components such as pumps, valves, regulators, heat exchangers, and flow/pressure controls. Understanding of general mechanical design and automation systems; PLC or PC-based controls experience a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
