Chemical Engineer - Cuddy, PA. Research and document ongoing enhancements to manufacturing procedures. Conduct a thorough analysis and suggest enhancements in the extrusion process to achieve optimal efficiency and superior product quality while minimizing waste generation and energy consumption. Suggest methods to enhance the chemical compositions of thermoplastic material to achieve the desired mechanical, thermal, and chemical properties. Stay up-to-date on the handling and safe use of hazardous chemicals. Enhance thermoplastic elastomer foaming by utilizing different chemical foaming agents. Assess current operational procedures, discuss inefficiencies with the COO, and suggest enhancements to increase productivity, improve quality, and ensure safety. Gather and evaluate data from diverse production procedures to derive valuable insights for enhancing decision-making and refining processes. Maintain and update safety protocols for handling hazardous chemicals. Ensure risk mitigation. Execute assessments and closely observe and report the production operations. Participate in Hazard and Operability Inspections and conduct Process Safety Audits. As directed, assess the customer\'s specifications and requirements to integrate them seamlessly into the manufacturing processes. Deliver technical presentations to both staff and customers as necessary. Determine the projected production costs in relation to management. Examine the equipment and methods to ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations. Work with the following: SAP, SS Reactors, GLRs, vacuum dryers, hazardous material handling, safety protocol development, process optimization, and production parameters (temperature and pH). Other similar professional duties as assigned. M-F; 40 hrs/week. $109,054.00/annum. Require Bachelor\'s in Chemical Engineering or equivalent and 3 years\' experience in the job offered or any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Experience must include: SAP for production tracking and inventory oversight, SS Reactors, GLRs, vacuum dryers, operational efficiency and safety, hazardous material handling, safety protocol development, batch processing, BPCR, process optimization, overseeing production parameters (temperature regulation and pH control), and presenting technical reports.
