Our Traffic/Technology Team develops innovative solutions for traffic management, signal systems, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). We aim to improve traffic operations, safety, and pedestrian circulation for cities and communities. As a Senior Engineer, you will lead traffic planning, studies, design, and operations tasks and projects, shaping the future of transportation infrastructure and contributing to the growth of our office. We have one position open and will consider candidates based in Plano or Fort Worth, TX. Responsibilities
Lead transportation projects related to traffic planning, studies, design, and operations. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated transportation solutions. Contribute to project management, schedules, budgets, and quality control. Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative team environment. Qualifications
You are passionate about: Working collaboratively with others. Taking ownership of the work you do. Using your talents to positively affect communities. You bring to the team: Ability to contribute and work well on a team. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. 10+ years of experience in traffic engineering, traffic operations, or ITS projects. Professional Engineering (PE) license in Texas. Working knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation. Working knowledge of software including Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, VISSIM or other similar software. Experience with design projects and traffic studies, preferred.
