Service Technician
to join their team. In this role, you will provide technical support to internal and external customers, including setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization and repair of injection molding systems. You will work with the call center, spare parts, and customers to diagnose issues. Approximately 90% local/regional travel within the assigned region (Monday – Friday) with possible 10% North American travel. Some weekend work will be required. Compensation
Base pay range: CA$35.00/hr – CA$45.00/hr. The final pay will be based on skills and experience; discuss specifics with your recruiter. Responsibilities
Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems with equipment; orders replacement parts; completes repairs and/or replaces components on machines and/or robots. Work with new and evolving technologies. Conduct testing and inspection on equipment as required. Complete work orders and written reports regularly. Interface effectively across manufacturing, engineering, sales and service functions. Communicate clearly to obtain and exchange complex technical information. Use Windows-based applications; good computer skills. Additional language(s) besides English is an asset. Strong problem-resolution skills with the ability to think creatively. Positive attitude, energetic work ethic, and ability to work independently. Strong electrical background and mechanical inclination. Good organizational skills and ability to interact professionally with customers; travel to Canada. Perform other special projects as required by management/supervisor. Qualifications
Experience with injection molding equipment including assembly, testing, service and engineering. Familiarity with machines, molds, robots and other product-handling equipment is an asset. Knowledge of blueprints and schematics. Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems. Ability to work independently; strong communication and customer service skills.
