About Us:

Sightpath Medical is the premier cataract and LASIK mobile services provider in the U.S. We have an opening at our headquarters in Bloomington, MN for an IT Systems Support Engineer in our IT Department.

Responsibilities:

Tier 1 Helpdesk support

Assist users either via phone, email or Datto Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) to resolve any issues

Properly elevate unresolved issues to appropriate internal resources

Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time

Maintain user administration in all systems including RingCentral, Jamf, Active Directory (on-prem), and Microsoft Office 365

Local backup maintenance and testing

Maintain Antivirus at all locations

Local & remote hardware support / troubleshooting and network maintenance

Phone system maintenance / configuration

Mobile Device Management (MDM) via Jamf

Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Systems Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role

Hands‑on experience with Windows OS and IOS devices

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues

Familiarity with On‑premises Active Directory, remote management tools, Veeam/Datto Backup Software, VMWare, RingCentral, and Jamf are a plus

Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills

Ability to provide clear step‑by‑step technical guidance, both written and verbal

BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Additional certification in Microsoft, VMware or similar technologies is a plus
