Facilities Maintenance: Generate and complete preventive maintenance and work requests using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Complete work professionally and in a timely manner. General duties include carpentry, roof inspection/maintenance/repair, furniture repair, construction, window glazing/repair, tile, painting, lock and key maintenance, door and hardware maintenance, access control maintenance, and building automation control maintenance. As an essential employee, report early as necessary to remove snow and ice from walkways, entryways, sidewalks, and parking lots using snow removal equipment and de-icing materials. May require extended hours or days to support campus needs. Exposed to adverse conditions. Move furniture and perform event setups and teardowns (chairs, tables, audio/video equipment, temporary stages, etc.) and ensure setup/teardown is accurate and timely. Minimum Qualifications

D6D2XX STRUCTURAL TRADES II Experience:

Four (4) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position, or Education and Experience:

A combination of related education, formalized apprenticeship program, and/or relevant experience equal to four (4) years. Preferred Qualifications

Locksmith experience Roof maintenance and repair experience Special Qualifications

Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force; heavy lifting with safety considerations. Proficiency in applying technology to perform job requirements; ability to use various computer software (email, internet, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, etc.) and willingness to stay current with or without direct support from CSDB. Ability to respond to feedback, work in teams or independently, and possess strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. A courteous, professional attitude as a CSDB representative. Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) at the NOVICE level, or willingness and ability to attain proficiency within a specified period, per school policy/procedures. Appeal Rights
