Facilities Maintenance: generate and complete preventive maintenance and work requests using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); perform carpentry, roof inspection/maintenance/repair, furniture repair, construction, window glazing/repair, tile, painting, lock and key maintenance, door and hardware maintenance, access control maintenance, and building automation control maintenance. Snow removal and winter maintenance as an essential employee, including operating snow removal equipment and applying salt/sand to ensure safe walking conditions; may require extended hours to support campus needs. Move and set up furniture and equipment for events, meetings, and in-services; ensure event setup and teardown is completed accurately and timely. Minimum Qualifications

Experience Only: Four (4) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position OR A combination of related education, formalized apprenticeship program, and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to four (4) years. Preferred Qualifications

Locksmith experience Roof maintenance and repair experience Special Qualifications

Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force. This position requires heavy lifting (following appropriate safety requirements). Knowledge of and ability to apply technology to perform the requirements of the position; ability to use various software applications (email, Internet, word processing, calendar, presentation development, spreadsheets, databases, etc.). Ability to respond to feedback, work in a team or independently, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. Courteous, professional attitude as a CSDB representative. Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) at NOVICE level, or willingness to attain proficiency within a specified period, as demonstrated by an assessment tool per school policy. Appeal Rights
