Team Lead - Hardware Validation (netPolarity, Inc.)
6‑month contract – W2 only – Hybrid onsite (3 days a week minimum). No C2C/Corp to Corp. Role Overview
Hardware validation focused on performance validation of next generation server architecture and AI accelerators. Education
Bachelor’s degree is required. Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Analyzing benchmarks and performance characteristics of next generation servers and AI Accelerators. Research trade‑offs for our server architecture, especially as related to the memory hierarchy, storage systems, scheduling, and I/O devices. Collect data from benchmark results, CPU performance counters, and other related performance information to identify bottlenecks and performance limitations. Evaluate system performance by executing industry standard benchmarks. Required Experience
Experience using Linux performance analysis tools and methods. Experience executing industry standard benchmarks or other performance test workloads. Understanding of computer system architecture. Communicates and collaborates well with others. Experience with PCIe testing and hardware validation. Preferred Experience
Benchmarks experience such as STREAM, multichase, SPECCPU2017, HPL, DGEMM, GUPS, SPECJbb and others. I/O benchmarks and tools such as Infiniband, iPerf3, FIO and others. Benchmarking memory technologies such as DDR5, CXL, HBM and others. Competitive analysis related to server architectures and AI workloads. Seniority Level
