Team Lead - Hardware Validation (netPolarity, Inc.)

6‑month contract – W2 only – Hybrid onsite (3 days a week minimum).

No C2C/Corp to Corp.

Role Overview

Hardware validation focused on performance validation of next generation server architecture and AI accelerators.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree is required.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Analyzing benchmarks and performance characteristics of next generation servers and AI Accelerators.
• Research trade‑offs for our server architecture, especially as related to the memory hierarchy, storage systems, scheduling, and I/O devices.
• Collect data from benchmark results, CPU performance counters, and other related performance information to identify bottlenecks and performance limitations.
• Evaluate system performance by executing industry standard benchmarks.

Required Experience

• Experience using Linux performance analysis tools and methods.
• Experience executing industry standard benchmarks or other performance test workloads.
• Understanding of computer system architecture.
• Communicates and collaborates well with others.
• Experience with PCIe testing and hardware validation.

Preferred Experience

• Benchmarks experience such as STREAM, multichase, SPECCPU2017, HPL, DGEMM, GUPS, SPECJbb and others.
• I/O benchmarks and tools such as Infiniband, iPerf3, FIO and others.
• Benchmarking memory technologies such as DDR5, CXL, HBM and others.
• Competitive analysis related to server architectures and AI workloads.
