Watch Our Story Role Overview: Bridge Engineer
We are looking for a Bridge Engineer to: Apply structural engineering and detailing techniques. Work on projects involving bridge (steel plate girder, prestressed concrete, segmental, and cable), box culvert, and interchange design for highway and railway projects. Select standard bridge engineering/design procedures, develop structural details using specialized software, perform load calculations, and assist with geometric layout and quantity development. Review, assign work, and check design calculations, estimates, and specifications produced by junior engineers and EITs. Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Structural Engineering. Minimum of 4 years' experience in bridge design. Candidates residing locally are preferred. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree. Previous experience in bridge design. Professional Engineer (PE) license. Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu and engineering software such as LEAPBridge, FB-MultiPier, LPile, AASHTOWare BrR, midas Civil, MDX, SAP2000, CSiBridge, RM Bridge, spColumn, STLBridgeLRFD, STLBridge. Knowledge of ADINA, LUSAS, Bentley OpenBridgeDesigner, Autodesk InfraWorks, Civil 3D. Experience with Microsoft Office, MicroStation, AutoCAD, MathCAD, LARSA, Prestress Concrete Design.
