Overview
Woodshop Production Manager at CabCraft Interiors Inc. Lead and manage the day-to-day woodshop operations in a fast-paced production environment. This hands-on leadership role requires strong supervisory skills, deep understanding of woodshop machinery, and the ability to coordinate complex production workflows while maintaining top-tier quality and craftsmanship. Responsibilities
Lead and manage day-to-day woodshop operations and production teams. Read and interpret blueprints, cut sheets, and architectural drawings. Coordinate production schedules and timelines with project management staff. Supervise employees, monitor work quality, and ensure deadlines are met. Program and operate CNC routers (or oversee programming). Manage material ordering, inventory, and final product inspections. Oversee proper use, maintenance and repair of shop tools and equipment. Ensure safety standards and cleanliness across the shop floor. Assist in the hands-on fabrication and finishing of custom products as needed. Qualifications
4+ years of experience in woodshop production or production management. Proficiency in blueprint reading, layout drawing interpretation, and creating cut lists. Strong leadership and mentoring skills. Skilled in CNC router programming and basic drafting. Ability to manage multiple tasks and production timelines effectively. Excellent math skills and the ability to read a tape measure with precision. High school diploma or GED required. Preferred Skills
CNC router setup and operation Inventory and materials management experience Edge banding machine setup and operation Custom frame/trim fabrication and miter cutting Laminate work (Formica, Wilsonart, Pionite) Experience with Corian, acrylics, epoxy, and solid surface materials Wood prep, staining, and lacquer finishing Benefits
