THE JOB As a Kitchen Maintenance Engineer at Beau Rivage, you will be the expert behind the scenes ensuring every kitchen on property runs seamlessly. From fine dining restaurants to quick-service outlets, your mechanical skill and technical knowledge will keep our chefs cooking and our guests delighted. You will inspect, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen and refrigeration systems with precision—playing a key role in delivering the exceptional quality and consistency Beau Rivage is known for.
THE STARTING RATE $23.12 an hour
THE SCHEDULE Full Time | Swing Shift
3:00pm - 11:00pm
THE DAY-TO-DAY
Perform maintenance and repairs on commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment, including ovens, grills, dishwashers, and ice machines
Inspect, clean, and maintain Pollution Control Units (PCUs) and hood systems; escort vendors during monthly cleanings and ensure accurate recordkeeping
Safely install, connect, and test new equipment according to specifications and architectural plans
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing and gas line systems, including filter and gasket replacements
Maintain par levels of spare parts and ensure the kitchen shop remains clean, organized, and well-stocked
Conduct preventive maintenance through a structured zone maintenance program to reduce downtime
Use HotSOS or an equivalent work order system to log, track, and document all repairs and maintenance activities
Provide regular updates to leadership regarding equipment conditions and needed repairs
Maintain and repair walk-in coolers, beverage conduit systems, CO₂ monitors, and F&B lighting
Uphold all safety standards while performing repairs and maintenance throughout the property
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Takes pride in ensuring every kitchen on property runs safely, efficiently, and at the highest standard
Demonstrates experience working as a commercial kitchen technician
Exhibits 2+ years of prior relevant experience in the hospitality industry or similar environment
Holds a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Brings a safety-first mindset and a commitment to excellence every day
