Senior Electrical Engineer
to support development, integration, test, and evaluation in Hardware in the Loop labs in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will have experience with avionics hardware in real-time closed-loop simulation environments. Job Description:
Test and evaluate systems with a team of engineers. Develop and use test fixtures and prototypes for diagnosing or testing components. Perform hands-on testing, diagnostics, and software integration and development. Integrate avionics hardware within real-time closed-loop simulation environments. Debug software and hardware issues. Create and maintain cable diagrams and schematics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful hardware integration. Provide technical support to other teams. Interact with customers and vendors as needed. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and at least 5 years of avionics hardware integration experience. Proficiency in debugging electronics and software issues. Familiarity with Cable Diagrams and Schematics. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work with both software and hardware. Ability to read, understand, document, and explain software work. Multitasking skills for multiple parallel efforts. Desired Qualifications:
Circuit and PCB Design FPGA Programming/Implementation Programming in C++, Fortran, Python Cisco TCL Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Visual Studio Code, Oscilloscopes, MATLAB, LabView, Xilinx Vivado, and others listed. Security Requirements:
Must be eligible for and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel ( Must obtain and maintain appropriate identification credentials for secure facilities. Physical Requirements:
