This role will report to Engineering and be integrated into the Engineering Manufacturing Team. Your purpose-driven work will help leave lasting and positive impacts on patient lives. As part of our sewing, assembly, delivery, and distribution teams, your attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement will help us turn innovative ideas into reality. This role will train, develop and coach a team of technicians and develop/implement area standards that increase equipment uptime, reduce maintenance costs, and increase the longevity of equipment. The role is a member of the Metals Engineering Leadership team to help drive lasting improvements to the area and shape the future of Metals manufacturing. Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production support technicians Oversee daily technical support activities to ensure minimal downtime and maximum equipment efficiency Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting protocols Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support new equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements Monitor KPIs related to equipment uptime, response time, and technician productivity Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards Manage staffing, training, and development plans for the technician team Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, equipment history, and technical procedures Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring equipment or process issues Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field 6 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 2 years in a supervisory role or leading projects Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a regulated industry Ability to manage technical disciplines and provide mentoring/peer leadership Project management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related systems Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills Excellent documentation and communication skills and ability to interact with multiple levels of the organization Understanding of manufacturing processes and/or critical support systems Financial acumen related to equipment purchasing/consumables management Experience managing a small team with coaching and feedback responsibilities Ability to influence cross-functional partners and drive objectives Ability to integrate metrics into projects and operations Attention to detail and professional interaction across organizational levels Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Compliance with company rules including EHS and pandemic protocols Equal Opportunity
