Responsibilities
Apply critical engineering and management thinking Weld Mapping Quantity tracking Take Offs Weld Inspections Material Search Assist in development and implementation of safety plans Conduct site audits and material testing and analysis Perform inventory checks, daily field engineering tests, and cost analyses Complete change order preparations and production tracking Assist with drawings (method/field) estimating, scheduling, and surveying Support with procurement and quality assurance reviews Maintaining files and records, copying, and scanning Process charts/graphs, designs, and proposals Assume additional responsibilities as directed Required Skills
Relevant coursework: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering & Management, or related program at time of internship, with sophomore year completed Leadership potential, problem-solving ability, and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment AutoCAD experience preferred Construction Management skills Physical Requirements
Regular use of hands and fingers; able to stand, walk, and sit; occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crawling Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds Good vision abilities and ability to adjust focus Occasional exposure to moving machinery, high places, outdoor conditions, fumes or chemicals; must use PPE as required Typical noise level is moderate to high EEO Statement
