Assembler - Wood | Asemblador De Madera

TransPak Role focused on safely and efficiently building wood crates to meet customer specifications for quality and on-time delivery. You’ll log in and out of jobs in the Ops Center (production software) to track production schedules and follow safety and PPE requirements. Shift and Schedule

Shift and Hours:

1st Shift – 7:00am to 3:30pm Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, occasional overtime and weekends may be optional or required What You’ll Be Doing

Build Various Sized Wooden Crates

using nail/staple guns, power drills, grinders, hammers Measure with a tape measure to ensure dimensions match the cut sheet up to 1/8 inch Safely use ladders when assembling crate tops (caps) Assemble bases or skids on the ground; operate a 20 lb, 3.5-inch nail gun while crouching and/or kneeling Read, interpret, find, and document cut sheet and/or stenciling errors Apply adhesives to foam on crates and conduct specification checks Follow standard operating procedures to perform tasks efficiently Use of Equipment and Safety

Follow all procedures and understand equipment use before operating Report equipment defects and maintenance needs to your supervisor Report unsafe acts to your supervisor to protect yourself and others Required Qualifications

3 months of experience in carpentry, construction, and/or landscaping Experience with dimensional and electrical power tools and motorized equipment Basic computer skills to use Ops Center to log in/out of jobs with employee ID Willingness to use heat sealers, utility knives, machinery and varying textures of foam Preferred Qualifications

Basic computer skills to use Ops Center to log in/out of jobs with employee ID Ability to learn new software Bilingual (English/Spanish) High School Diploma or GED Interested but Concerned You’re Not Qualified?
