The
Commercial Grounds Maintenance Production Manager
is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing field supervisors and crews delivering high-quality commercial landscape maintenance services. Your focus will be on safety, quality, efficiency, and profitability, while building strong client relationships and developing the next generation of landscaping professionals. This position is a great fit for someone who thrives outdoors, leads by example, and is ready to make a direct impact on people, performance, and client satisfaction. What You’ll Do
Leadership & Operations Manage crew budgets for labor, materials, and equipment. Oversee scheduling, timekeeping, and work orders using BOSS LM. Monitor equipment inventory and coordinate repairs/service. Conduct site inspections to ensure consistent service across the branch. Lead seasonal services (including snow removal). Client & Team Support Maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors. Partner with Account Managers to address challenges and find opportunities. Identify and recommend site enhancements. Coach and mentor supervisors, crews, and interns — driving career growth and team development. Ensure all work meets company standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. Train teams on best horticultural practices. Support a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. What We’re Looking For
2-year degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, or related field preferred. Prior supervisory experience in commercial landscaping strongly preferred. Valid NC Driver’s License with a clean record; NC Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain). Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills. Ability to work outdoors in all weather, lift 50 lbs. regularly, and handle environmental conditions (bees, pollen, poison ivy, etc.). Commitment to safety protocols and PPE usage. Must pass a criminal background check. What We Offer
