Job Description
Higher Recruitment, Inc. provided pay range: $70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr The role is for a service-oriented professional with strong human resources, recruiting, and business acumen. Responsibilities:
Main Duties & Responsibilities: Controls System Design & Implementation
Design, develop, and implement electrical control systems and automation solutions, with a focus on Siemens PLCs and HMIs. Lead projects for new equipment integration, upgrades, and process automation.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support
Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for electrical and control systems, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance. Serve as the subject matter expert for Siemens controls and related automation technologies.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and reliability improvements. Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to implement innovative solutions.
Documentation & Compliance
Develop and maintain detailed documentation for control systems, electrical schematics, and project records. Ensure compliance with company protocols, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Project Management
Manage and execute engineering projects from concept through commissioning, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
Training & Knowledge Transfer
Train and mentor maintenance and operations staff on Siemens control systems, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
Facility & Safety Management
Support the upkeep of the production area, including implementation of 5S principles and participation in preventive maintenance programs. Promote and enforce safety standards in all engineering activities.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field. Professional Experience:
Minimum of 3 years experience in industrial controls engineering, with hands-on expertise in Siemens PLCs and automation systems. Technical Proficiency:
Advanced knowledge of Siemens PLC programming, troubleshooting, and integration. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
Excellent troubleshooting skills and analytical thinking. Personal Attributes:
Results-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities. Working Conditions:
Frequently required to stand, walk, sit Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl Continually required to talk or hear Frequently utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard or other equipment HMI Frequently required to lift/push/carry items less than 40 pounds/ up to 60 pounds Frequently has exposure to wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather) Frequently work near moving mechanical parts Occasionally work in high, precarious places Occasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions Frequently has exposure to extreme heat or cold (non-weather) Frequently loud noise (examples: assembly line noise, product testing noise, etc.) Occasionally very loud noise (example: insulator product shatter, electrical shock) Benefits:
