Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr
The Program Manager III oversees full lifecycle program execution and team coordination, ensuring projects meet technical, cost, and schedule objectives while aligning with overall business goals. This role works cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to deliver on key customer programs within a highly technical environment.
My client is a leading provider of high-reliability and radiation-assured electronic solutions serving defense, space, intelligence, and commercial applications. Their technology is built to perform in the harshest environments—from human spaceflight and missile defense to electronic warfare and advanced medical systems.
Description This position will report directly into the Director of Program Management and be responsible for:
Define and implement program objectives, strategies, and execution plans in alignment with customer and company goals
Serve as the primary customer interface, managing communications, satisfaction, and program expectations
Oversee cost, schedule, and performance across all assigned programs
Lead risk management processes and maintain risk mitigation plans
Review and coordinate project schedules, deliverables, and milestones with functional leads
Ensure timely completion of program deliverables and effective reporting of progress and results
Facilitate communication among stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams
Conduct regular project reviews and lead status meetings to ensure alignment and accountability
Profile A successful candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred), or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of program or project management experience within a complex technical, manufacturing, or aerospace/defense environment
Strong background in stakeholder communication, scheduling, and risk management
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams
Strong MS Project experience, especially EVM
Strong understanding of NPI process (design reviews, phase gate, etc.)
