Overview

Power Generation Maintenance Specialist - Instrumentation and Controls Coach Location: West County Energy Center in Loxahatchee, FL. Reports to the Plant Manager. The successful candidate will lead safety-focused maintenance and ensure instrumentation & controls (I&C) and electrical maintenance are in excellent operational condition. Responsibilities

Direct a team of production and maintenance technicians and contractors in plant maintenance activities. Lead internal and external resources to Deliver Certainty, executing plant maintenance to achieve site goals in safety, environmental, compliance, reliability, availability and cost management. Focus on optimizing site maintenance and standardizing processes, procedures, and techniques for repeatability. Develop technicians’ skills and knowledge; apply leadership for employee development and performance management. Troubleshoot and analyze equipment performance deviations and maintain I&C equipment readiness for operation. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications

Required

High School Grad / GED; Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience Process Management Concepts Quality Tools and Techniques Effective Written Communications Effective Verbal Communications Safety Policy and Practice Experience: 2+ years Supervisor/Management Experience: 0+ years Fair exposure to instrumentation, controls and electrical maintenance; experience with gas turbines, steam turbines, instruments, transmitters and valves is preferred Preferred

Six Sigma quality tools (preferred) Experience managing projects within budget and identifying capital/O&M needs Engineering Degree (preferred) Job Overview
