We’re seeking an experienced CT Tech to provide high-quality imaging services across two convenient clinic locations. Locations Mayfair South Clinic Good Hope Clinic Biweekly Schedule Week 1: Tuesday – Mayfair South Clinic; Wednesday – Mayfair South Clinic; Thursday – Mayfair South Clinic Week 2: Wednesday – Good Hope Clinic; Thursday – Mayfair South Clinic; Friday – Mayfair South Clinic Major Responsibilities
Competently operates CT equipment to perform basic to advanced diagnostic procedures, including basic imaging processing, body, head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, contrast, orthopedic, angiography, extremity and 3D reformatting including cardiac, vascular and neurological imaging. Obtains medical history from patients and compares requisitions to physicians\' orders to ensure exam accuracy. Positions patient and selects proper scanning factors, adjusts factors to attain the appropriate images, and provides radiation protection and safety in accordance with regulatory agencies. Prepares and administers contrast media under the direction of the physician, and assists in the proper scanning techniques. Provides measurements and additional slices for accurate interpretation. Post-processes images as directed and accurately identifies and labels images with patient name, MRU number, and location or position of scan. Maintains records in accordance with regulatory agencies and enters patient and study information into the radiology information system; documents billing codes of procedures performed to ensure accurate patient charges. Identifies equipment performance issues and performs quality assurance tests and calibration procedures. Reports malfunctions and evaluates new products and equipment. Serves as a technical resource, role model and/or preceptor for students and staff. Supports accreditation efforts and acts as a resource to staff within the facility and system. Performs patient positioning and transporting duties, requiring lifting and pushing/pulling with proper technique. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care; understands growth and development across the life span and assesses data relevant to patient age-specific needs in accordance with department policies and procedures. Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required
Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin Registered Technologist (RT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Computed Tomography (CT) registration with ARRT to be obtained within 18 months Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) to be obtained within 6 months unless exempted by department leadership Education Required
Advanced training beyond high school that includes completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Experience Required

Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety Competent in IV and venipuncture (if required by facility) Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient service skills; ability to work effectively with physicians, patients and staff Ability to work independently Intermediate computer skills Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders frequently Ability to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist; up to 20 lbs overhead; carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance Push/pull with 30 lbs of force; perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs with assistance Clear speech, vision and hearing; may be exposed to hazards and require personal protective equipment as necessary Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job This job description indicates the general nature and level of work expected.
