Join an excellent team of critical care NP/PAs! Seeking an experienced APP or willing to train the right new grad. Will be trained on procedures such as central and arterial lines. Critical Care experience required. Responsibilities
The NP or PA ICU/Critical Care will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary critical care unit. The NP or PA ICU/Critical Care will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and care coordination as a first line provider to critically ill patients and their families. Provides inpatient medical care for critically ill patients requiring ICU level of care. APP works in collaboration with intensivist physicians, attending physicians, consultants, house officers, nurses, and other members of the medical care team to ensure that patient outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently. Specific procedures as per credentialing as indicated by training and experience. Education/Experience Required
Master\'s degree in nursing OR Bachelor\'s degree or completion of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant program minimum. 1-year critical care experience required. Certifications/Licenses Required
Current certification as a Certified Nurse Practitioner. Current state license as a Registered Nurse OR Michigan licensure and continued certification by the National Commission of Certification Physician Assistant (NCCPA) Current ACLS/BLS as required. Current ATLS/PALS provider status as required. ENLS and FCCS within 6 months of hire. Additional Information
