The Infection Control Coordinator is responsible for directing the infection control program and interfaces with all departments/services. Identify, control, and prevent outbreaks of infections in the facility. Collect and analyze infection control data; plan, implement, and evaluate infection prevention and control measures. Educate individuals about infection risk, prevention, and control; develop and revise infection control policies and procedures. Investigate suspected outbreaks of infection and provide consultation on infection risk assessment, prevention, and control strategies. The Employee Health Nurse interfaces with all departments/services and directs the Employee Health Program, coordinating daily activities of the Employee Health Department. Track and notify employees due for injections and other employee health requirements; administers and documents injections; audit and maintain Employee Health files; track data for reports. Qualifications

Must hold a current state RN license from an accredited school of nursing and maintain license renewal per State Board of Nursing standards. Three years of experience as an RN, with one year of infection control experience preferred, preferably in a LTACH. Continued education in Infection Control/Epidemiology preferred. Basic computer skills with minimal guidance. Must be able to read, write, and speak English, with good verbal and written communications skills. Employment details
