Itera Mobility Engineering , we are looking for a
Quality Engineer
to join our engineering team and work in an important automotive client located in
Georgia, USA. Main functions to develop: Monitor, maintain, and improve customer scorecards and performance metrics. Respond to customer portals for quality issues, corrective actions, and any engineering changes (if applicable). Provide engineering support to resolve internal and external quality concerns. Lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with production and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Support new product launches and ensure alignment with customer requirements. Own and support core quality documentation updates: Standard Work Instructions, Process Flow, Control Plans, and PFMEA. Serve as the quality representative for APQP activities and documentation. Guide and support the APQP Engineer in all quality-related tasks. Maintain compliance with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager Requirements: 3 years’ experience in automotive quality
or manufacturing. Proven leadership, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. Familiarity with quality tools such as 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, and CP/ FMEA. Strong understanding of quality systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001). Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies. Experience working with OEMs. Compensation and Benefits: Medical health insurance.
