Overview

This water treatment sales position is focused on managing existing accounts and growing new business to drive ChemTreat’s market position within a geography or an industry. Responsibilities include retaining an existing customer base by fostering value and ROI, and actively generating new accounts. The role concentrates on the profitable growth and maintenance of a territory by identifying and meeting customer needs. The majority of time will be spent managing existing accounts, with some time allocated to acquiring new business. Base pay

Base pay range : $110,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Responsibilities

Lead the creation, improvement, and implementation of innovative sales strategies to drive ChemTreat’s position and increase share within the assigned geography. Develop key relationships with customers by identifying and engaging decision makers within existing accounts, prospecting, generating cold calls, frequent follow up, and driving to root issues to identify customer needs. Increase sales and profit margin within the territory by meeting targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars. Engage technical staff and management as needed to develop retention and growth strategies. Establish professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. Achieve designated new business targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars. Create and present effective proposals to current and prospective customers. Communicate the ChemTreat value proposition to the customer base. Troubleshoot technical and site-specific process issues. Entertain customers and prospects in accordance with ChemTreat’s entertainment policy. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge & Skills

Bachelors of Science; Engineering or technical degree required or equivalent 7+ years of relevant experience 7+ years of successful water treatment related experience Proven track record of generating sales revenue and maintaining and growing an account base Physical Demands

Travel dependent on size of assigned territory Long hours & varied work schedules Position involves sitting and occasional walking, standing, climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and speaking Manual dexterity for handling objects and computer keyboards Ability to lift up to 60 pounds; may handle drums weighing 250-800 pounds Occasional climbing of stairs and ladders; work at high elevations for extended periods Occasional driving short and long distances Close, distance, color, peripheral, depth vision, and adjustable focus Working Conditions & Environment

Required to wear PPE for deliveries (eye, hearing, respiratory protection, etc.) Occasionally in extreme heat Potential high noise levels at indoor and outdoor sites Sites may include boiler houses, cooling towers, water/wastewater plants Hazardous chemicals are routinely used Collaborative working environment with interaction across customer organization levels Employment details

Compensation The compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $140,000 USD per year. This role may be eligible for Commission Pay. The posted range may be modified in the future and compensation will be based on various factors including education, experience, skills, seniority, location, and business needs.
