located in one of the following offices: North Kansas City, Springfield, St. Louis, Missouri, or Overland Park, KS. This position will join our in-house engineers, designers, and technicians to provide technical expertise in all areas required to successfully deliver sound solutions and quality design. This

Bridge Engineer

will perform a wide range of design tasks from basic to complex, including designing bridge components and other transportation-related structures, detailing for plan production, quantity calculation, report preparation, and site inspection. Responsibilities

Design and load rating of simple and/or continuous span prestressed bridges Design and load rating of simple and/or continuous span steel bridges Design of retaining wall and sign support structures Bridge repair/rehabilitation design Bridge Inspection As experience is acquired, responsibilities may lead to bridge lead or project management opportunities on transportation projects. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program 5 - 10 years of experience Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) Strong communication skills Proficiency in MS Office Design and detailing experience with prestressed concrete, reinforced concrete, and structural steel Experience with MicroStation, structural analysis, and design software Preferred Skills

Master's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program with a structural emphasis Familiarity with AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications Experience in planning and design for bridges Experience with MoDOT EPG including design and plan preferences Grow With Us
