Oversee production in one or more assigned departments; direct and coordinate activities of manufacturing employees and ensure compliance with safety and environmental programs and other Company policies and procedures. Manage staff selection and performance; ensure manufacturing process operates smoothly and efficiently to meet quality and scheduling requirements. Train new employees and mentor skill development; perform direct labor as needed in assigned departments. Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures; identify hazards and collaborate with EHS Manager and maintenance to minimize hazards and ensure employee safety. Communicate professionally to convey instructions, demonstrate procedures, and manage employee performance and behavior. Model integrity, comply with policies, and provide timely responses to internal customers. Comply with manufacturing processes, quality standards and procedures, and leader instructions; provide clear directions and hold the team accountable. Attend production meetings and collaborate with internal stakeholders on production scheduling and quality issues. Record information in ERP system and update metrics; communicate with employees across all levels via phone, email, and in-person. Verify equipment operation and safety; perform basic troubleshooting and initiate maintenance or work orders as appropriate. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Utilize tools and gauges to interpret part measurements and inspect parts. Interview applicants and select qualified personnel; comply with regulations and processes for recruiting, selection, and recordkeeping. Maintain regular on-site attendance. Work Experience

Minimum of three (3) years experience in aerospace manufacturing, including direct labor work similar to the assigned department(s). Industry and technical knowledge representative of the work performed by the assigned department(s). Comprehension of the AS9100 Quality System is required. Supervisory or lead experience; advanced supervisory training may be considered in lieu of direct supervision experience. Knowledge and experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement programs preferred. Other Required Skills And Abilities

Professional verbal and written communication skills (English). Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word). ERP experience required; Infor Visual experience preferred. Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities to handle unexpected challenges. Commitment to confidentiality and integrity in communications and actions. Self-management skills including efficiency, urgency, adaptability, and ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Valid Driver's license and acceptable driving record (MVR) required. Physical Demands and Work Environment

Regularly stand and walk; stand for long periods. Regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds; push/pull as needed. Occasionally climb steps, stairs, or ladders; occasionally bend, crawl, stoop, squat, or knee. Color distinction and visual acuity for gauges and readings. Use hand tools, computers, and precision measuring instruments; operate and inspect parts. Operate motor vehicle as required. Working Conditions

Manufacturing shop environment with varying conditions; exposure to noise, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, and hazardous equipment. PPE including hearing, eye, and hand protection and safety footwear required. Position classified as safety-sensitive. Education

High school diploma or GED required; vocational training or a Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field advantageous. EEO and Other Notices
