Senior Claims Specialist - Construction Professional Liability role at AXA XL. Location options include Exton, PA; Philadelphia, PA; New York, NY; Morristown, NJ; or Hartford, CT. Our Claims team leverages specialized expertise to handle complex claims and focuses on excellence, collaboration, customer service, and continuous improvement. What You’ll Be DOING

Managing assigned claims across multiple jurisdictions, setting case strategy in collaboration with Regional Claims Practice Leaders, Claims Legal, and Claims management as warranted. Proactively managing external counsel and setting litigation strategies when counsel is engaged on a claim. Coordinating and managing communication with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., underwriting, brokers, reinsurers, external vendors) to ensure the highest level of customer service. Consulting with Regional Claims Practice Leaders and Claims management on Large Losses to achieve the best outcome for the client and AXA XL. Documenting claim activity in the claim system in accordance with Global Claim Handling Principles, including establishing and maintaining appropriate reserves. Producing internal reports and identifying, monitoring, and reporting on emerging liability and coverage trends. You will report to the Manager of Construction Professional Liability Claims. What You Will BRING

Professional Liability claims experience with construction claims or professional liability in the construction/design field. Experience assessing and managing coverage issues and handling high exposure and complex claims. Demonstrated experience negotiating and settling complex claim files. Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at various levels. Collaborative approach with insureds, brokers, claim handlers, underwriters and legal counsel. Able to work with a virtual team. Ethics: Maintain integrity and high standards of professionalism. Results orientation: Proactive approach, ability to prioritize multiple work streams without sacrificing quality, and a sense of urgency. Intellectual curiosity: Willingness to ask questions, learn, and continuously improve technical skills. Professional designation or JD preferred. Who We Are
