Hydrology and Hydraulics Early Career Engineer

RESPEC is seeking a motivated Early Career Engineer to provide project design in our San Antonio or Castroville, Texas offices. This role involves all aspects of planning and design services related to the stormwater and water resources engineering field. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions while collaborating with project teams and expanding your stormwater technical knowledge. This position is a hands-on position in our H&H sector, in a successful and continually growing employee-owned company. Responsibilities

Work on hydrology and hydraulic (stormwater) projects from conception through completion, for both public and private work Prepare H&H models & designs, generate exhibits and technical reports Help in construction plan production, opinions of probable costs and development support tasks Help develop project deliverables, permitting and general stormwater design Coordinate with regulatory agencies and internal teams to ensure project success Qualifications

Required: Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related engineering field 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in the stormwater-engineering field Practical application of the various hydrology/hydraulics software including HEC-RAS (1D/2D), HEC-HMS, Hydraflow, Flowmaster, StormCAD and EPASWMM Excellent oral and written communication skills Preferred: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within one year of employment Experience developing stormwater drainage reports, CLOMR/LOMR for FEMA, permitting and stormwater Experience with AutoCAD C3D and GIS Additional Information

Compensation:
