Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure, is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join our Southeast team. Office locations for this position are Jacksonville, FL; Maitland, FL; Tampa, FL. Responsibilities

Evaluation, programming review, design of Instrumentation and Control (I&C) systems for Water/Wastewater treatment facilities Development of process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) Select instruments necessary for equipment automation, and select appropriate instrument technology Control system startup, testing, troubleshooting, process optimization; design control system network architectures and interfaces Develop programmable logic controller (PLC) control narratives Outline SCADA requirements and functionality Develop conceptual and preliminary studies and reports Prepare specifications for bidding and construction Review contractor plans and shop submittals Conduct field visits to review contractor’s work and gain resolution of field-related problems Essential Functions

Possesses excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal skills Proactively connects with other disciplines to produce a fully coordinated project Uses effective time management and detail-orientation skills Works efficiently and independently on multiple projects while meeting budgets and schedules Experience

Minimum of 4 years of directly related engineering work experience required Prior experience in the Water/Wastewater industry strongly preferred Proficient with MS Office Suite + Bluebeam required Experience also using Revit or AutoCAD preferred Certification

EIT Certification required Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Control System Engineer (CSE) preferred Education

BS Degree in related Engineering field of study Your Benefits
