Overview
The Sr. Process Control System Engineer will manage and improve control systems to enhance manufacturing performance, reduce costs, and maximize ROI. This role focuses on system design, OT cybersecurity, DCS/MES system support, and implementing site-level process control strategies. You’ll have a direct impact on operations, safety, quality, and compliance while ensuring uptime and system integrity. Compensation
Base pay range: $120,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr Salary to 145K, excellent benefits and relocation This range is provided by Advanced Search Group. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Key Responsibilities
Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot DCS and automation systems (Siemens DCS required) Lead upgrades and modifications to meet business, safety, and regulatory objectives Provide OT cybersecurity solutions and ensure compliance with corporate standards Support production teams by improving control system performance Drive continuous improvement, advanced control strategies, and data analytics capabilities Mentor junior engineers and uphold control system standards Participate in on-call rotation and comply with all safety and training protocols Qualifications
MS + 5 yrs, BS + 7 yrs, AS + 8 yrs, or 10+ yrs relevant experience in process control/automation Expertise in DCS, SCADA, and automation technologies Strong problem-solving skills and cross-functional engineering knowledge Experience with OT cybersecurity and ICS networks Siemens DCS experience required Familiarity with Microsoft systems preferred Willingness to respond to emergencies and support off-hours work when needed Seniority level
