What You Will Do The Manufacturing Engineering organization is seeking a motivated Sr. Test & Validation Engineer to support the Raytheon Forest Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC).
As a Sr. Test & Validation Engineer, you will work within production operations and the manufacturing discipline and will partner with a multi-disciplined team of engineers to develop and evaluate test processes, special test equipment, data analysis tools and test requirements.

Developing and maintaining Test Procedures
Root cause analysis and resolution of test failures (hardware and test environment)
Maintaining related STE (Special Test Equipment) and specifying replacement equipment when required (obsolescence)
Training Technicians and entry level Test Engineers to use Test Procedures and providing written directions for troubleshooting instruction
Transforming complex information and data into clear, concise and visually engaging slides
Some travel may be required

Qualifications You Must Have
Typically Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 5 years of relevant experience. An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science / Computer Engineering
Experience analyzing test data and / or determining if hardware meets specification
Qualifications We Prefer
Preferred major in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Experience with RF systems
Experience diagnosing and isolating technical issues with test equipment and production hardware
Experience interpreting product specifications and requirements
Experience with use of optical fiber in communication systems
Experience with modern Automated Test Systems for electronics
Experience performing analysis of technical data
Salary and Benefits Salary range for this role is $73,000 - $147,000. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off and holidays.
