The description below is based on the information provided and reflects duties relevant to the role of a Carpenter within the Self Performed Carpentry Division. Perform carpentry tasks as part of self-performed carpentry operations on active construction sites Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Collaborate with team to maintain quality workmanship and safety on site Required Skills
Drywall Taping & Finishing experience is a plus but not required Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings Beneficial Skills (not required)
Wood Framing Commercial Door and Hardware Installation Guaranteed 40 hours/week with the potential for Overtime Company covers all parking expenses Company vehicles provide jobsite transportation from company warehouse All tools & equipment to be provided Company apparel and PPE to be provided Compensation and Growth
Compensation will be based on experience. Growth opportunities available. Qualifications
Minimum 5 years carpentry experience Valid driver’s license Reliable transportation to company warehouse Commitment to following company procedures to maintain a safe and clean jobsite Must be willing to commute into Boston daily OHSA 10 Certification is a plus. Company sponsored training is available. Hoisting and equipment operating licenses a plus On Site Position & Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be working on an active construction site with heavy machinery and constantly changing conditions. Candidates must be: Physically Fit: Frequently climb scaffolding, stairs, and ladders Able to spend time in an outside environment with moderate to loud noise level, temperate changes, and weather conditions Hand Eye Coordination: Ability to sit for long periods of time if needed and perform fine motor skills using a keyboard, telephone, and writing Strong Vision Requirements: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus J.L.
