in Los Angeles, CA, a vibrant continuing care retirement community. The CNM will oversee clinical nutrition programs for a 59-bed skilled nursing unit, involved in kitchen operations, and supervise a team of 10–12 dietary aides. What You’ll Do
Provide compassionate care to skilled nursing and/or rehab residents Consistently meet DOH/state/federal and company standards Provide clinical oversight of the skilled nursing patients Oversee 10–12 dietary aides to manage operations of the skilled nursing kitchen Manage and develop the clinical nutrition and wellness programs What We Offer
Start with 3 weeks vacation and 3 personal days Reimbursement for Academy dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal Money toward continuing education events Up to $5,000 tuition reimbursement annually Compensation is fair and equitable and may be influenced by education level or years of relevant experience. What You Bring
Registered Dietitian with clinical experience Proven supervisory or management experience (preferred) Strong verbal and written communication skills Good time management, self-starter and team player with a track record of proactive interaction with the medical team and strong employee relations Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education: Master’s degree with ACEND-approved supervised practice (or Bachelor’s degree with ACEND-approved supervised practice for those eligible for the registration exam before 01/01/2024) RD/RDN eligibility with CDR and plan to become registered within 120 days of hire (some states/facilities require RD/RDN at hire) State licensure/certification as required Minimum Management Experience: 1 year Minimum Functional Experience: 2 years in health care settings (hospitals, nursing homes, assisted/independent living, long-term care, clinics) plus RD credential We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
