Responsibilities
The Staff Registered Nurse manages the delivery and documentation of patient care using the nursing process. May be required to float to other units and participate in on call status. This position requires population-specific competencies and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on patient contact level. Specific duties include: Assessment/re-assessments Development of the plan of care Implementation of appropriate patient care interventions Evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions Supervises and coordinates other licensed and non-licensed personnel in the provision of care to patients as assigned Provides guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate The Staff Registered Nurse reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. Mental Health staff may assist with physical restraint of patients using the identified Behavior Management Technique System. This role may include additional physical demand or respiratory fit test requirements. Contact Risk Management/Employee Health or consult the Physical Demands Project for details. Moderate exposure to hazardous risks, including infections, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals. Potential for bodily injury from lifting and workplace violence. Follow universal safety precautions. Potential for interruptions, noise, and odors. May float to other units and may be required to be on call status. Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE: 2 years RN experience LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: RN Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire Other certifications and competencies required based on service line skill Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written). Hospice and INTEGRIS Mental Health: This job may require operating an INTEGRIS-owned vehicle or a personal vehicle. A current Oklahoma State Driver’s License and acceptable driving record are required. Employment details
