Sourcing Specialist III - Machined Bar & Hardware at CNH. Location: Oak Brook, IL. Job Type: Full Time. Working Mode: Hybrid. Job Purpose Within this role you will be responsible to analyze data, track trends, work with current suppliers and make recommendations on new suppliers to support the Machined Bar & Hardware portion of the Metallic business. Key Responsibilities
Analyze and evaluate external price trends, market trends and new product offerings to reduce overall purchasing costs. Collaborates with suppliers to assure the quality of their products, materials, components and/or operations and develops supply recommendations. Ensure suppliers can meet forecasted demand. Coordinate efforts in the reduction of purchasing/engineering costs and establish cost for new products. Continuously explore cost improvement ideas through VA/VE in close coordination with suppliers. Work closely with Engineering / Supplier Quality / Suppliers for technical review. Understand the technical aspects of Forging & Machined parts and convey requirements to suppliers. Actively engage with current and new suppliers to maintain a competitive supply base for the assigned commodity; may select, recommend, and manage relationships with major suppliers to ensure satisfactory service. Travel as necessary to respective suppliers. Other related duties as assigned. Experience Required
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering preferred). A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications
