Senior Supply Chain Manager - HVAC at Ferguson. On-site location: Newport News, VA HQ with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote). The Senior Supply Chain Manager - HVAC is responsible for the operational execution of inventory planning across Ferguson’s distribution network. This role drives optimal inventory positioning, supports high service levels, minimizes working capital, and enables scalable growth. It involves developing and implementing enterprise-wide inventory strategies in partnership with customer and business group leadership, and owning end-to-end supply chain functions including planning, procurement, inventory optimization, and supplier engagement to drive service, efficiency, and financial performance. The Manager leads a high-performing team of inventory professionals and contributes to talent development and performance management. Location:

Newport News, VA HQ. Schedule: On-site with hybrid arrangement (3 days in Office typically Tue/Wed/Thu; 2 days Remote typically Mon/Fri). Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Contribute to developing and implementing customer group inventory strategy with full ownership of end-to-end supply chain functions including planning, direct procurement, inventory optimization, and supplier engagement. Collaborate with external vendors and partners at corporate, regional, and area levels to implement supply chain initiatives. Develop and implement strategies and tactics to optimize product supply and working capital for defined customer groups and vendors. Manage supplier performance, collaborate on inventory planning and strategies to enhance service, manage working capital, and streamline supplier networks through SKU rationalization; monitor service levels and inventory days. Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development for team members within the Customer Group Inventory Management function. Drive performance standards (KPIs) that support the business and deliver a competitive customer experience and profitability, including purchasing, demand, and replenishment metrics. Be a key member of the S&OP process, facilitating cross-functional communication between partners. Provide ongoing updates to Integrated Planning leaders on supply chain metrics and strategies to improve results. Lead the execution of new supply chain initiatives, processes, and tools within the distribution network to enhance productivity, service, and working capital. Lead change management, process improvement, and drive efficiencies and consistency across a defined section of Customer Group vendors. Identify and retain talent within the Integrated Business Planning organization; lead coaching and development initiatives for associates in Integrated Planning. Ensure working capital management aligns with corporate objectives in the assigned Customer Group area. Qualifications

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Project Management, Business, Supply Chain Management or related field from an accredited institution (preferred). Five or more years of experience in Integrated Planning and/or direct business leadership (highly preferred). Strong time-management skills and ability to operate with minimal daily oversight. Experience with project management, business intelligence, and automation tools (SmartSheet, PowerBI, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.). Strong interpersonal and consulting skills; good business acumen and high integrity. Strong organizational, planning, presentation, and follow-up skills. Ability to balance multiple urgent requests; flexible and adaptable with multitasking capabilities. Self-starter, creative problem solver, and self-sufficient. Open to travel (including overnights) as needed. Benefits and Compensation

Pay Range: $9,225.00 - $15,033.70 per month. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations; starting wages may be higher in certain locations based on local or state requirements.
