Co-op - Flight Operations - Pilot Learning Experience and Strategy (Summer 2026)
Join Delta Air Lines as a Co-op in Flight Operations, focusing on Pilot Learning Experience and Strategy. As a member of the Delta Training Analytics team, you will leverage data to improve the Pilot Training Experience. How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities) Responsibilities : The Co-op will work closely with teams responsible for the development, design, and delivery of all training for our 16,000+ pilots. Key areas of focus include: Learner Insights & Advisory : Deepen understanding of the training experience and champion pilot needs through research and insights from Learner Feedback. Track and monitor pilot performance against feedback to identify gaps in training programs. Learner Analytics : Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support training curriculum changes or the development of new training programs. Create cross-divisional reporting to measure training performance and effectiveness. Learner Experience Strategy & Integration : Support long-term strategy development, including pilot training journey mapping, expanding Listening Posts, standardizing surveys, and implementing new data collection methods. The selected candidate must commit to the following Co-op rotation(s): Summer 2026 Spring 2027 Fall 2027 What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications) Working as a Co-op does not guarantee a full-time opportunity upon graduation. This position is intended to provide educational and professional work experience. Experience or demonstrated interest in data analysis and coding, preferably SQL. Knowledge of process improvement methodologies is preferred but not required. Strong organizational, project management, and personal management skills. Robust verbal and written communication skills at all levels. Ability to work well in teams. Currently enrolled full-time, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Proficient with Microsoft Windows and strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency, and is at least 18 years of age with authorization to work in the United States. What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications) Experience performing statistical analysis and modeling. Experience with coding software (e.g., SQL, SAS, C, Python, VBA, R). Coursework in statistics, data science, computer science, operations research, marketing, etc.
