Rainier Recruiting is partnering with a well known commercial office furniture dealer who is seeking a Business Development Manager. This role is responsible for identifying and securing new sales opportunities in the contract furniture and facility services sector. This individual will proactively generate leads through existing networks, company-provided sources, and personal outreach. The role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs and recommend tailored solutions. Base pay range : $85.00/yr - $100.00/yr Additional compensation types : Commission Location
Location:
Hybrid. Anywhere in Puget Sound, WA. This position is in office only occasionally with the majority of time spent in the field and meeting with customers in Western Washington. Benefits
Annual salary $90,000 to $100k plus commission (negotiable). Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue commercial sales opportunities Create and execute a strategic business development plan Build strong relationships with key industry decision-makers Promote customer satisfaction and revenue growth by delivering effective solutions Collaborate with prospective clients to design and coordinate office layouts and facility services Lead planning sessions with internal project teams to align on project scope and timelines Training & Development
Complete company-specific training within designated timeframes Participate in regular sales training meetings Engage in ongoing individual training and development sessions as needed Qualifications
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred 5–10 years of experience in B2B, outside sales with a proven track record of success Experience in related fields such as office furniture, space planning, relocation, flooring, or facilities management is a plus Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong sales acumen including persuasive communication, presentation, and project coordination Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong time management and organizational abilities Ability to meet deadlines and achieve sales targets Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills Employment type
