Role Overview As part of the Enterprise IT team, this leader manages/oversees the technical delivery of the SAP platform including platform/application-level security, vulnerability management, related IT control oversight, infrastructure management for Corebridge’s SAP finance platform in collaboration with our PaaS partner (SAP ECS) and our AMS provider, and oversight of technical production support activities and any related root cause analyses.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end SAP Environment including implementation, deployment, support, and administration.
Manage onshore and offshore SAP Basis Administrators to support SAP operations.
Enforce company change control policies, patch management, and information security standards.
Lead a team of Basis administrators to deliver ongoing maintenance and support for SAP systems.
Participate in production support activities and resolve technical issues with clear communication and thorough root cause analysis.
Keep up to date with the latest SAP security trends, patches, and vulnerabilities to ensure the protection of SAP environments.
Manage the SAP Security team to maintain the safety and security of SAP Financial applications and the HANA database.
Provide guidance to the security team on security provisioning, role-based access control, user administration, and supporting all security related audit and compliance activities.
Oversee and manage SAP controls assessment initiatives, ensuring they are conducted effectively and efficiently.
Ensure SAP systems comply with internal controls, regulatory requirements, identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to SAP system controls.
Prepare SAP environments for audits, ensuring all SOP documentation and controls are in place.
Ensure compliance with company Information security office standards and requirements.
Assist with managing software budgeting, procurement, contracts and driving expense reduction initiatives.
Support SAP change management team to maintain SAP Solution Manager and other relevant tools used for change and release management, ensuring they are configured and utilized effectively.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
15+ years or more of relevant experience and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. 10+ years of industry experience
In-depth understanding of the design and deployment of SAP S4HANA, SAP Rise, SAP BODS, SAP BusinessObjects reporting/analytic solutions, SAP Security design, implementation and Operation, SAP Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC), SAP Change Management Methodology, & SAP BTP (including Clean Core concepts) is required
Knowledge of SAP Finance, SAP Treasury, SAP Insurance subledger accounting (FPSL), insurance collections & disbursement (FSCD), & SAP BDC (including Datasphere & SAC/SACP) is preferred.
Able to see big picture/strategic thinker
Strong leadership/influencing and negotiation skills
Work with leaders across business lines & IT disciplines; Leads both domestic and globally distributed teams.
Identifies issues within immediate team and gathers information to determine root cause
Administers, interprets, and executes policies and procedures to ensure success of initiative and programs.
Strong vendor management skills
Comfortable working in a dynamic, rapidly changing and oft-times ambiguous environment.
Must maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
Excellent communication (written and oral) and people skills.
Understanding of application systems design and integration in a large heterogeneous enterprise environment
Experience with modern IT monitoring capabilities

Compensation The anticipated salary range in Jersey City, New Jersey for this position is $180,000 to $210,000 at the commencement of employment. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent on multiple factors, which may include the candidate’s geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications.
In addition, the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
Work Location This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Houston, TX or Jersey City, New Jersey office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
Estimated Travel May include up to 25% travel.
