Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center, a subsidiary of UHS, is a 182-bed private hospital that specializes in treatment of drug addiction, mental health issues and concurrent disorders for adults and adolescents. Education/Training: A Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required or equivalent. Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results and knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles preferred. Licensure/Certification: Must have valid Driver’s License. Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of basic community and business development concepts. Ability to interpret and communicate data from statistical reports. Knowledge of key internal/external health‑care environments. Knowledge of programs. Demonstrates superior customer service skills to external and internal customers. Knowledge of senior management credentials. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to meet corporate deadlines and skill in organizing and prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines. Ability to multi‑task between accounts and/or referral sources. Work territory and accounts as assigned. Knowledge of the terms ‘Account’ and ‘Call’. Account is defined as any referral source. No one Marketing coordinator will be solely responsible for an Account. Call is defined as a meeting or interaction with a potential referral source. More than one ‘Call’ can be performed in a single place. Sensitive and aware of diverse cultures and their practices. EEO Statement
