The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Responsibilities
Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
Coach and support project team members
Manage and coordinate multi-discipline MEP design and construction phase services for projects with internal staff resources and external clients/stakeholders
Complete project initiation documents including details scope, outline, budget, and schedule for completion
Identify needed project resources and work with Corporate Discipline Leads to assign team members
Ensure all procedures and steps are in accordance with Company standards
Act as client/Company liaison, keeping both appropriately informed of project status
Represent the Company at project meetings
Complete field surveys and/or inspections or assign appropriate employees for same
Identify and investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures
Ensure project financial database is current and maintained
Prepare high quality reports
Communicate project changes and/or variation information appropriately
Develop project staff
Supervise the work of other staff when assigned
Consult and coordinate with Supervisor and other senior management members at regularly scheduled meetings to review status of active and future projects
Secondary Functions
Duties as assigned by Supervisor and other senior management members
Qualifications
Excellent knowledge of underlying principles of A/E industry
Excellent knowledge of project management processes
Ability to prioritize tasks
Detail and safety-oriented
Excellent communications skills
Ability to drive and maintain a safe driving record
Ability to create and maintain productive relationships with employees, clients, and vendors
Education/Experience Minimum
BS/BA or MS/MA or related four-year degree or professional registration (PE/AIA/RA) in engineering or architecture
Demonstrative progressive growth in engineering experience/knowledge with 6-10 years industry experience / 3-5 years project management experience
Valid state driver’s license (any in US)
Ability to work in US
Ability to meet worksite security requirements including MA State Police and USCBP/TSA background checks
