Job Description

Woodard & Curran is seeking a full-time O&M Project Manager to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of a water and wastewater utility serving approximately 20,000 customers. The ideal candidate will possess the following NJ Department of Environmental Protection licenses: S-3 Wastewater Treatment, T-3 Water Treatment, C-3 Wastewater Collections, W-3 Water Distribution. The Project Manager will play an active role in the coordination and communication with operations, client representatives, contractors, and any assigned engineering firms. He or she will also work closely with all parties to ensure effective system operation and optimization, staff development, implementation and management of an innovative predictive maintenance management program, administration and implementation of all routine and capital repair and replacement projects, and emergency response for process upsets, equipment failures, force majeure events, all alarm events, etc. Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of a water and wastewater utility Coordinate and communicate with operations, client representatives, contractors, and assigned engineering firms Ensure effective system operation and optimization, staff development, and implementation of maintenance programs Administer and implement routine and capital repair and replacement projects Respond to emergency situations and work in inclement weather as needed Requirements

10 to 15 years’ experience in managing complex water and wastewater treatment facilities NJDEP licenses: S-3, T-3, W-3, and C-3 High school or equivalent, with technical/vocational school background; College degree preferred with focus in Environmental Areas Experience overseeing operating and capital budgets Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills Benefits
