Based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, we provide machinery, tooling, field support, and training across the U.S. Our team ensures customer success through expert support from installation to after-sales service. Role Summary
As a Field Service Engineer, you will provide onsite and remote support for laser and fabrication systems. You should be a proactive problem solver capable of diagnosing complex issues independently and delivering excellent customer service in manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities
Support equipment installation, maintenance, and repair in the field. Perform system upgrades, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting. Interpret mechanical and electrical schematics for repairs and installations. Conduct onsite and virtual training for customers on machine operation and safety. Provide feedback for machine improvements and customer satisfaction. Assist with live demos and test cuts for prospects. Collaborate with engineering teams and international partners. Attend trade shows and demo events. Maintain detailed service logs and reports. Qualifications
Required: Associate degree or higher in Mechatronics, Automation, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. At least 2 years’ experience in field service for CNC or laser systems. Strong troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to travel frequently and lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work independently in varied environments. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field. Over 5 years of hands-on service experience. Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software. Bilingual skills (English/Mandarin or Spanish) are a plus. Location & Travel
Remote work in IN, OH, MI, IL, WI, TN, KY, MO, and surrounding Midwest states. Extensive travel required (75%+). Benefits & Perks
