Overview The Hot Line Engineering Leader is a position responsible for the execution of Hot Line driven projects in collaboration with Hot Line Maintenance groups to drive consistency and quality in project and Maintenance execution.

Responsibilities

Safely execute projects on schedule and on budget

Develop and maintain the overall APU capital plan with assistance from various plant & APU resources.

Maintain the APU capital project portfolio

Ensure improvement activities are completed for APU key cost center to improve Uptimes

Drive job planning with APU resources to improve key equipment reliability and capacity

Review all formal Request for Appropriation capital funding request for accuracy and plant requirements

Supervision of APU and 3rd party engineering teams for APU projects and activities

Supervision and training of subordinates for employee development and KPI improvements

Establishes capital project portfolio, resource, requirements and engineering workload assignments for the PAU Engineering Group

Consistent high-quality projects and outages on time, and within budget

Ensure execution of projects meets Plant Engineering Standards

Support APU maintenance activities as appropriate

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or 10 years work experience in a Maintenance, Engineering, and/or Reliability

Plant Engineering project Experience and Knowledge of Operating Departments

Working Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering Disciplines

Strong background in industrial automation including PLCs and HMI systems, required

Experience with system integration, control logic development, and troubleshooting of automated equipment, strongly preferred

Experience with energy management systems and utility optimization, strongly preferred
