is seeking a qualified and experienced on-site
Senior Manager of Product Development Engineering
to lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team in executing new product initiatives (NPI) for HVAC and thermal management solutions. This role balances technical depth with project execution, ensuring products are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest levels of performance and reliability. Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day execution of the product development process for next-generation HVAC systems (CRAHs, AHUs, chillers, etc.). Translate product roadmaps and customer requirements into actionable engineering deliverables. Manage cross-functional collaboration across mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering. Plan, track, and report on NPI project timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocations. Conduct design reviews, oversee prototyping, testing, and validation in alignment with industry standards (AMCA, AHRI, ISO). Collaborate with Manufacturing and Supply Chain to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and smooth product launch. Drive engineering documentation (CAD, eBOM, test reports) and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards. Mentor, coach, and evaluate engineers—developing technical skills and leadership capabilities within the team. Identify opportunities for innovation, cost reduction, and performance improvements through data-driven methods. Support sustainability initiatives by integrating energy efficiency and environmentally conscious design into all products. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred). 8–12 years in product development, engineering management, or related leadership roles within HVAC, refrigeration, or mission-critical systems. Demonstrated success managing cross-functional teams and NPI projects from concept to production. Strong background in HVAC systems design, fluid dynamics, refrigeration, controls, or thermal management. Familiarity with CAD, PLM, and engineering tools for analysis, simulation, and documentation. Proven ability to mentor, coach, and lead engineers with a hands-on, collaborative approach. Strong project management and organizational skills. Effective communicator who thrives in cross-functional, fast-paced environments. Seniority level
