POSITION SUMMARY The Mechanical Engineer supports the design, analysis, and continuous improvement of NOV ram BOP products and systems. This role involves hands-on problem-solving, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and implementation of practical solutions to improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree: Mechanical Engineering 0 to 5 years of work experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 3D CAD/Modeling experience (Creo/Pro-E, SolidWorks, etc.) BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES Collaborate professionally with team and peers. Demonstrates self-driven initiative and curiosity in identifying and solving problems. Taking responsibility for work ethic and actions. Comply with all NOV company and HSE policies and procedures. Respecting diversity. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES Communication, able to express relevant information appropriately, clearly, and correctly. Learn and operate multiple NOV specific software/programs. Applies creative thinking to develop innovative and effective solutions. Applies fundamental engineering principles to troubleshoot and improve designs and processes. An understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, assembly, testing) Experience with BOPs (Blowout Preventers) is preferred
