Pratt & Whitney is seeking an experienced manufacturing engineer to lead projects for New Product Introductions and have responsibility for manufacture of experimental engine hardware. This position offers the opportunity to work on some of the newest products and manufacturing technologies being designed and developed at Pratt & Whitney. What You Will Do

Pratt & Whitney’s Compression Systems Module Center (CSMC) is seeking an experienced manufacturing engineer to lead projects for New Product Introductions and have responsibility for manufacture of experimental engine hardware. Responsibilities

Plan and develop manufacturing processes for new experimental engine hardware and, in some cases, phase these products into production. Collaborate with new product design engineers during conceptual design through detail design and initial hardware manufacture. Utilize MRL tools to ensure product design meets cost and producibility goals while meeting program and design requirements. Support experimental hardware manufacture within Pratt & Whitney and at selected development suppliers. Create master planning summaries, tool planning, design and tryout, and work instructions. Develop new process technologies, conduct first piece tryout, and deliver development parts to meet program schedules. Mentor newer team members as required. Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in manufacturing engineering. Experience with machining processes (milling, turning, grinding, etc.) on aerospace materials, process planning, and development. U.S. Citizenship required due to program requirements. Qualifications We Prefer

Experience with new product introductions, rotating hardware, IBRs/Blisks, fan/compressor airfoils, new capital equipment projects, and continuous improvement projects. Experience with manufacturing readiness levels (MRL) and project leadership. Learn More & Apply Now

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including the role, function and responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
