Production Leadership Team , the
Group Lead (Supervisor)
is responsible for leading and developing a team of production associates while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations in the mixing, filling, and packaging of chemical products. This role will be based
on-site in Elk Grove, IL . In this role, a typical day will look like: Supervising, coaching, and training production associates on shift Performing laboratory testing of finished products per work instructions Monitoring production procedures through hourly/daily management systems Reviewing and resolving equipment issues and escalating when necessary Enforcing plant safety standards and ISO compliance Tracking team performance using data entry and analysis tools The essential requirements of the job include: Associate’s degree or higher OR 5+ years of supervisory experience in chemical manufacturing Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word); knowledge of Oracle, ADP, OBIE a plus Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Videojet is proud to be part of the Product Quality & Innovation segment of Veralto (NYSE: VLTO), a $5B global leader dedicated to ensuring access to clean water, safe food and medicine, and trusted essential goods.
